Get off to a good start with these hints!

1. Download Carb Manager app to track macros

2. Grab a buddy to hold you accountable.

3. Get keto urine strips to check if you’re in ketosis- eventually you become fat adapted and stop spilling ketones in your urine but it is nice to know when first starting out.

4. Drink water! Typically weight loss is quick and then stabilizes while the body is healing from all the carbohydrate toxins. Initial weight loss is mostly water weight. NO MORE BLOATING!

5. Try intermittent fasting

6. Avoid root veggies (carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, turnips)

7. Stop snacking- unless it is a keto approved snack. 

8. Pickle juice for cramps. Also pink Himalayan salt helps. Muscle cramps can be from electrolyte deficiencies which can occur with rapid water loss. There are some electrolyte replacements you can buy specifically for keto.

9. Bulletproof coffee in the morning for satiety. 

10. Find a good website for recipes… like this one. 

11. Follow reputable sources. There is a lot of misinformation out there​.
